Both organizations signed a commitment document to study and promote the incorporation of clean energy solutions in the Aysén Region, Chile, and to collaborate in reducing environmental pollution in the city of Coyhaique.
The goal is to establish a framework for evaluating strategies and proposals that facilitate an energy transition toward clean and efficient sources, including an analysis of international experiences and lessons learned on the matter.
Both organizations agree that the effective implementation of public policies and coordinated strategies will be essential to achieving the objectives set out in this collaboration. The agreement seeks to establish a regional cooperation link that promotes knowledge exchange and institutional strengthening for the energy transition.
