Brazil, Mexico, and Venezuela accounted for 70% of LAC\u2019s oil supply, consolidating their position as the region\u2019s main producers. Regarding foreign trade, 56% of total oil imports corresponded to intraregional trade, while 22% of regional exports were destined for LAC countries, highlighting a significant level of regional energy integration.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Meanwhile, regional natural gas production showed stronger growth, with a year-on-year increase of 27% and monthly growth of 22% in January 2026. Argentina led regional production with a 21% share, followed by Trinidad and Tobago with 20% and Brazil with 13%.
