The Latin American and Caribbean Energy Organization (OLACDE) and the Latin American Integration Association (ALADI) signed a cooperation agreement aimed at deepening knowledge exchange in areas related to energy integration and trade, while advancing joint actions to strengthen regional cooperation.<\/p>\n
The agreement is structured around three main areas: the joint development of training activities for public officials, experts and other sector stakeholders; the use of educational platforms and resources provided by both organizations; and the organization of events, workshops and research initiatives focused on regional energy integration, with the aim of fostering greater intraregional trade.<\/p>\n
The Memorandum was signed by Andr\u00e9s Rebolledo Smitmans, Executive Secretary of OLACDE, and Sergio Abreu, Secretary General of ALADI. The agreement will remain in effect for an initial five-year period, with the possibility of renewal, establishing a solid framework for joint initiatives that connect energy, knowledge and economic integration across Latin America and the Caribbean. <\/p>\n
The signing builds on the institutional cooperation between OLACDE and ALADI, translating it into concrete actions to strengthen technical capacities, facilitate the exchange of experiences and generate applied knowledge. The initiative seeks to harness energy complementarities among countries and expand opportunities for intraregional exchange and trade. <\/p>\n
