OLACDE Energy Excellence Award winners"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Latin American and Caribbean Energy Organization (OLACDE) is pleased to announce the <strong>winners of the 2026 OLACDE Energy Excellence Award,<\/strong> an initiative that recognizes outstanding projects and experiences that contribute to sustainable development and the transformation of the energy sector in Latin America and the Caribbean.<\/p>\n<p>The 2026 edition received <strong>155 project submissions from 21 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean<\/strong>, reflecting the growing commitment of public and private institutions, companies, organizations, and educational institutions throughout the region to advancing innovative, high-impact solutions in the energy sector.<\/p>\n<p>The award-winning projects were selected by an Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established for the Award\u2019s four categories: <strong>Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy, Decarbonization, and Education.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>OLACDE congratulates all the institutions and teams behind the recognized projects and highlights their contribution to developing solutions that support a more sustainable, efficient, innovative, and inclusive energy transition across the region.<\/p>\n<p>The winners will receive their awards during the 2026<strong> OLACDE Energy Excellence Awards Ceremony<\/strong>, to be held on <strong>October 7, as part of the XI Energy Week <\/strong>in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, <strong>on October 8<\/strong>, the winning teams and projects will participate in<strong> \u201cProjects that Transform: Winning Experiences from the OLACDE Energy Excellence Award,\u201d<\/strong> a session designed to showcase the experiences, results, and lessons learned from the recognized initiatives, while promoting knowledge exchange and the dissemination of best practices across the regional energy
