Orellana and Rábida. This project, which represents an initial investment of over 500 thousand dollars in cutting-edge infrastructure, marks a strategic step toward accelerating electric vehicle adoption and consolidating the development of electromobility in the country.

The station features eight charging bays equipped with three types of connectors (CCS2, CCS1, and GB/T), with delivery capacity of up to 200 kW per cable. Its main technological innovation is an intelligent 600 kW charge distribution system, which allows each vehicle to charge at the maximum speed it can support. Operating autonomously 24/7 via a mobile app, with security guaranteed by closed-circuit surveillance, the service promise is clear: charging from 20% to 80% in approximately 30 minutes.
CONECTZ is planning an ambitious expansion. During 2026 and 2027, the company expects to install 30 additional ultra-fast charging bays and 50 slow-charging points, with a total investment of over 5 million dollars, which will make it possible to build the most robust ultra-fast charging network in Ecuador.

The inauguration event was attended by National Government authorities, government ministries, representatives of the Municipality of Quito, and leading automotive brands in the electromobility sector. On behalf of the Latin American and Caribbean Energy Organization (OLACDE), Fitzgerald Cantero, Director of Studies, Projects and Information, took part and highlighted that the sustained growth of the electric vehicle fleet in Latin America and the Caribbean calls for strengthening charging infrastructure and creating enabling conditions for private investment.

OLACDE underscored the importance of promoting initiatives such as CONECTZ, which help build sustainable mobility ecosystems, strengthen energy planning, and support the transition toward cleaner, more resilient energy matrices.

CONECTZ is not just a charging station; it represents the start of a network that will allow users to travel sustainably and reliably, contributing to the development of more modern, environmentally responsible cities.

CONECTZ, Ecuador’s first multi-brand ultra-fast charging hub, was officially inaugurated in Quito, located on Av.
